Moving heavy cable drums safely and efficiently is a common challenge in cable manufacturing, utilities, construction and offshore industries. Large wooden or steel cable drums can weigh many tonnes, making manual handling or traditional methods such as forklifts slow, costly and potentially hazardous.
Power Pusher cable drum pushers provide a simple and highly effective solution. Using a specially designed roller attachment, a single operator can safely push and control cable drums weighing up to 120,000 kg. The attachment grips the drum flange and allows the drum to roll smoothly across the floor with minimal effort.
The adjustable roller attachment can be quickly set to suit different drum diameters, allowing the same machine to handle a wide range of cable drum sizes. For extremely heavy drums, two machines can operate together on opposite drum flanges to move even greater loads safely and efficiently.
