20,000 kg
1.91 – 2.86 km/h
Manufactured by us in the UK to UKCA and EU CE standards and in the USA to UL standards, the machine supports more than 100 different attachments designed for a wide variety of industrial pushing and pulling applications.
The Power Pusher electric tug helps reduce manual handling risks and improves workplace health and safety. Because it does not require a specific operator licence, anyone in the workforce can use it, helping increase productivity and reduce downtime.
Battery powered and highly capable, the Power Pusher can push and pull heavy wheeled loads up to 20,000 kg*. Over decades of development, it has grown into a versatile solution with a comprehensive range of over 100 application-specific attachments for the materials handling sector.
A popular attachment for this model is the angle bracket, widely used for machinery installation and for moving loads on skates.
A Power Pusher is often introduced to replace costly equipment such as forklifts or overhead cranes at a fraction of the price. Power Pushers are available to buy or hire. Get in touch to discover how the Power Pusher could help transform your operations.
For heavier loads, we also offer the Super Power Pusher and Dual Motor Super Power Pusher, delivering even greater torque and capability.
Indicated load capacity ultimately depends on the rolling resistance of the load.
For example, a 5,000 kg rail bogie moves far more easily on steel railway tracks than the same 5,000 kg placed on a trolley with four castors on a concrete floor. Each application has a different coefficient of friction, which directly affects rolling resistance.
This product is currently used in some of these industries:

The Power Pusher can push and pull wheeled loads of up to 20,000 kg, depending on the application.
Actual performance depends on rolling resistance. For example, a 5,000 kg load on steel rails will move far more easily than the same load on four castors over a rough concrete floor. Wheel type, floor surface, gradients and load balance all affect real-world capacity.
If you are unsure, it’s best to discuss your specific load, wheel type and floor conditions to confirm suitability.
No formal operator licence is required.
The Power Pusher is designed to be simple and intuitive to operate, with variable speed control, regenerative braking and built-in safety features. Most operators can be trained quickly on site.
That said, as with any materials handling equipment, proper familiarisation and safe-use training is strongly recommended.
The Power Pusher is designed for wheeled loads, including:
With over 100 available attachments, the unit can be configured for a wide range of industrial applications across engineering, rail, logistics, construction and manufacturing environments.
In many applications, yes.
Where loads are already on wheels, a Power Pusher can often replace forklifts, cranes or manual handling processes at a significantly lower cost and with reduced risk. It is particularly useful in confined spaces, clean environments or areas where lifting equipment is impractical.
However, it is designed for pushing and pulling rather than lifting. If vertical lifting is required, additional equipment may still be necessary.
The Power Pusher is battery powered using sealed, maintenance-free batteries with an on-board charger.
Battery life depends on load weight, floor conditions and usage patterns. In most industrial settings, a full charge comfortably supports a full working shift. Charging is straightforward and can be done from standard power supplies.
Because it is electric, the unit produces no exhaust emissions, making it suitable for indoor use.
Yes, ATEX-certified versions are available for hazardous environments such as chemical or explosive atmospheres.
Additional options include stainless steel construction, non-marking tyres, motion bleeper alarms and safety strobe lighting. This allows the Power Pusher to be specified for clean rooms, food production, chemical plants and other specialist settings.
